金鸡村是翁源县坝仔镇所辖的行政村，区划代码440229104216。[1]

据区划资料，金鸡在1949至1957年为金鸡乡，1958至1983年为金鸡大队，1983至1986年又改回金鸡乡，1986至1993年称金鸡村委会，1993至1998年称金鸡管理区，1998年起称金鸡村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
金鸡茶又称翁坝金鸡茶，产地在金鸡村，因此得名，明嘉靖年间已有生产。百度百科记载，到2023年茶园面积超过5000亩，年产约98.75吨，有「珠江源」等品牌。[2]县政府网站说金鸡茶是明朝的贡茶，并给出全镇茶园约3800亩，两个面积统计范围与年份不同，并存列出。[2][3]
