新桥村是东水镇下辖的镇乡结合区。村子建设时搭了一座桥，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1941年至解放初为东水乡所辖，1952年归桥源乡。1962年设新桥大队，1987年起称新桥管理区办事处，1999年起称新桥村村民委员会。[1]

文化[edit]

广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予新桥村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
