水背村是广东省河源市和平县大坝镇下辖的行政村，村名因村后有一条大河、水源充足而得来。[1][2]

村子先后获得多项荣誉，其中2025年3月被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」，2019年6月列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。[1]

村后有一条大河流过，水源充足，村名由此而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年和平解放前后，此地隶属大同乡。1958年人民公社时组成水背大队。1983年公社撤销，改设区公所，区下设乡，乡政府称水背人民政府。1987年区公所取消，建镇人民政府，镇下设管理区，名为水背管理区办事处。1999年撤销管理区，设立水背村村民委员会。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2025年3月，村子被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」。2024年4月，村子入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。2024年1月，村子被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。2021年9月，村子被认定为「第二批全国乡村治理示范村」。2019年6月，村子列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。[1]
