历史沿革[edit]
解放时，此地属黄埠乡。1958年为车田公社的汤湖大队，1977年改属郑马公社汤湖大队。1983年改设乡，1986年转为村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年重新设立村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
汤湖村的2023年广东省卫生村称号，于2024年3月确定。[1]
温泉与产业[edit]
2025年的镇工作计划设想依托汤湖村的温泉与小盆栽花卉基地，投资约5000万元，在一片占地100亩的地方建成集花卉观光、研发加工与温泉康养度假于一体的体验园。[3]
2026年的镇工作计划提出推动汤湖温泉康养旅游项目的开发。[2] 2025年12月，驻镇帮扶工作队为村文化广场申请帮扶资金23.46万元，用于环境提升。[4]
