黄埠村位于车田镇，原址在东江河两岸。明末清初，此处形成墟镇。流经墟镇的各条沥溪在雨天常呈黄色，墟镇又建有埠头通水，村名“黄埠”由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年7月，此地为黄埠小乡。1958年改设黄埠大队，1977年隶属郑马公社黄埠大队。1983年改设乡，1986年转为村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年重新设立村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
黄埠村的2023年广东省卫生村称号，于2024年3月确定。[1] 2019年9月，该村被列为2018年度广东省民主法治示范村创建单位。[1]
