大同村属车田镇，为镇乡结合区的行政村。村名的由来与地形有关：村中地势同邻村共和村相差不大，于是取名“大同”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1951年，此地是车田乡下的大同小乡。1983年改设为乡，1986年转为村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年重新设立村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，该村被列为2018年度广东省民主法治示范村创建单位。[1] 2024年3月，大同村获命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
