赤光镇是广东省河源市龙川县下辖的镇，位于县境中部、东江上游，距龙川县城约47千米，镇政府设在赤光镇街道3号。[1][2][6] 全镇下辖1个社区和16个行政村，油茶与茶叶是镇内的重点产业。[3][7]

2026年公告的国土空间总体规划以枫树坝地方级自然保护区为依托，把镇域定位为龙川县东部组团的生态旅游目的地，同时以省级油茶产业园为基础发展特色农业。[5]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，赤光属十一都巡检司，该司又称五峡司。[1][3] 1950年归龙川第四区（黎咀）管辖，1952年3月另设第九区，1955年6月改称赤光区。[3] 到1957年年底，这一带划出赤光、新田、回龙三个乡；1958年10月设赤光公社，1962年3月又分成三个公社。[3] 1983年11月公社制度结束，改设区；1987年4月区一级取消，改设为镇。[1][3]

此地先叫赤岗，意为红色的山岗，土色偏红。博雅地名网写作开办赤岗圩的时间是康熙五十九年，并注为1680年，这一公元年份与康熙纪年不合，此处只取纪年。[3] 1949年后改称赤光。[3] 赤光社区条目则记1955年冬把「岗」改为「光」，取「黑暗已逝，曙光来临」之意。[3] 两种说法的时间不同，并存于此。

地理环境[edit]

赤光的地形自东南向西逐渐低斜，是九连山脉延伸出的丘陵地带。博雅地名网的概况页写作总面积132平方千米，其中耕地约1260公顷、山地约9240公顷，未注明年份。[4] 镇内有13个村的小河注入东江，另有3个村的小河汇入韩江水系。[4] 当地属亚热带季风气候，年均降雨量约1770毫米。[4]

规划公告划出四个区域：中部是城镇综合服务的核心，北部围绕枫树坝保护区形成生态涵养区，东部为高效农业种植区，西部以优势产品种植为主。[5]

各来源的人口数字年份与口径不同。百度百科记2019年末户籍人口46677人。[1] 博雅地名网据第七次全国人口普查，写作常住人口约2.13万人，位列全县乡镇第六。[3] 维基百科条目记总人口31899人、常住人口约4万人，但该条目最后修订于2018年，未注明统计年份。[2] 规划公告估计，到2035年时全镇常住人口约1.68万人。[5]

2017年，农业总产值1.95亿元，农民人均纯收入8695元，全镇地区生产总值4.73亿元。[1] 博雅地名网的概况页称，农业是镇内的基础产业，主产稻谷，镇办企业以小水电为主。[4]

规划公告以省级油茶产业园为基础，把赤光定位为特色农业和农产品加工一体的城镇。[5] 2025年工作计划提出做大做强油茶种植与加工，以南龙村为核心种植区打响赤光茶叶品牌，并以新淳天堂茶为重点茶品，推进以「茶」文化为主题的文旅名镇建设，同时发展丝苗米产业。[7] 镇内特产有茶油、绿茶、柿饼、红枣、大米等。[4]

龙川县在2020年把资源集中用于五个连片的美丽宜居村，赤光名列其中，另四处为龙母、鹤市、佗城和黎咀。[9] 2019年，农业农村部公布的中国美丽休闲乡村名单中有镇内的大洋村。[8]

据博雅地名网概况页，赤光处于三条省道的交汇处，一条省道南北贯穿全镇约16千米，东面的甘赤公路通往回龙、兴宁、梅州，西面的枫赤公路通往车田、和平。[4] 镇内各行政村均通汽车，东江上游一带建有多个简易码头。[4] 规划以现状国道236为纵向城镇发展轴，并以省道339为产业发展轴。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

百度百科列出的镇内景点有天羊山庄、五合径度假村和彭坑旅游码头。[1] 五合径是旧时从五合通往赤光的重要通道，据博雅地名网载，始建年代在明末清初，路面以石块拼砌，全长约6千米，宽窄与坡度时有变化，最陡处有六十多级台阶。[4] 此径位于沥口至枫树坝水库边的一段。[4]

规划公告列出赤光镇范围内的三处县级文物保护单位，即楠木坑文昌塔、乐善堂和丰豫围，要求划定保护范围与建设控制地带，修缮时坚持「不改变文物现状，整旧如旧」。[5] 百度百科又提到镇内文物古迹有文章祠塔等。[1]

村庄与规划[edit]

规划公告以「镇区—中心村—一般村」的三级镇村体系组织全镇。镇区一处写作包括赤光居委和双羊村；中心村有浮下、石圳、南龙与大洋四村；其余为一般村。[5] 公告另一处的说法则是：镇区面积约0.38平方千米，涉及大洋与双羊两个行政村，两处口径不一。[5]

2024年11月，龙川县人民政府批复了大洋村的村庄规划，大洋村被定为城郊融合类村庄。[10] 规划对耕地的下限定为14.69平方千米，永久基本农田不少于14.14平方千米，生态保护红线不少于30.49平方千米，城镇开发边界则不超过0.38平方千米，时限至2035年。[5]

著名人物[edit]

博雅地名网在赤光镇条目下列出罗恺（1012～1076）、黄强（1888～1972）、萧殷（1915～1983）等人，但未说明他们与本镇的具体关系。[3]
