地名由来[edit]
村子地势较高，与石圳交界处有一道落差达30米的水跌，当地俗语称之为「石磜」，村子恰好座落其上，因此先叫「磜上」。约一百年前，村民袁玉初等人觉得改名再香更吉利，于是改了。[1]
沿革[edit]
清末叫磜上。1949年6月解放后，村子归瑶再乡，并更名为再香。1958年组建大队，1984年建乡政府，1986年改设村委会，1989年划为管理区，1999年再设村委会。[1]
