地名由来[edit]
村名来自旧时的一个管区。1945年以前，漂湖、长塘尾、牛牯塘、下村坝等地划归黎咀区兰岐浮下堡，并在堡内转设农会；此后与双羊合为双浮管区，再拆分出浮下大队。[1]
建制沿革[edit]
1949年时本村归浮下乡。1958年组成大队，1983年于此设立乡政府，1986年再改为村委会，1989年变为管理区，1999年又设村委会，此后沿用。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年10月，浮下村被收入广东省卫生村名录。[1]
