1958年称罗洞大队，1983年改乡，1987年改管理区，1999年设罗洞村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

镇政府的简介提到，龙窝镇与河源市茶叶行业协会结对后，以购代捐的方式帮罗洞村销售「万绿茶叶」近16万元。[2]

文化[edit]

2019年10月，罗洞村被列入2019年广东省卫生村名录；同年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
