文化[edit]
据紫金县的介绍，蒲米制作的第一代传承人黄迁生于明正德二十五年（1527年），是嶂下村人。到2014年，村里办起一家中裕客家蒲米公司，转为批量生产。[3] 村中另有演花朝戏、舞纸马、舞龙狮的民间团体，农历七月十四是本地独有的节日。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
2018年龙窝镇规划茶文化乡村旅游线路时，嶂下一段以历史景观为主，包括狮山观音寺、清代建筑百官堂和后素公祠。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
嶂下大队设于1958年；1984年转为乡，1987年改称村民管理委员会，1990年定名管理区，1999年又成为嶂下村委会。[1] 2019年10月，嶂下村被列入2019年广东省卫生村名录。[1]
