历史沿革[edit]

升平村1958年是附城公社的升平生产大队，1961年属士贵公社，1963年属乌石公社，1983年称乌石区升平乡，1987年为升平村委会，1989年称升平管理区，1993年冠乌石镇之名，1999年撤管理区、改设村委会，2009年随乌石镇并入紫城镇。[1]

民国以前这里叫岩前，新中国成立后，人们盼望太平盛世，改称升平。[2]
