城南社区是广东省河源市紫金县紫城镇下辖的社区居委会，属镇中心区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化时，这里叫城镇公社东升大队；1980年起称直径大队，1987年称直径村委会，1989年改为管理区，2001年成立城南社区居民委员会。[1]

1989年的城南管理区辖沙子坝、教场、直径三个自然村。1996年管理区一分为二：教场与直径两个自然村归城南居委会，沙子坝自然村另设上坝居委会。[1]
