龙潭村是汕尾市陆丰市陂洋镇东部的行政村，位于龙潭、巷口两座水库的下游，辖5个村民小组，距陂洋镇12公里[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立后设龙潭乡，属第四区（陂沟区）；1961年改龙潭大队，属陂洋公社；1983年复称乡；1987年改村委会；1994年改管理区；1999年改称村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。

地理与经济[edit]

全村面积约8平方公里，总人口7115人；对外的公路要经过拦水坝，雨季坝面被水淹时交通中断[1]。村民靠种粮食、果树维持生活；2020年8月，龙潭村以甜油柑入选首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2020年11月，龙潭村获“第六届全国文明村镇”称号；2023年5月，省爱卫会又授予它「2022年广东省卫生村」[1]。
