高地社区在甲子镇中心，东邻元高社区，南接新湖、望湖两社区，西面是甲西镇新寨村和城东社区，北面是城东、两东社区。[1]

辖区约0.68平方公里，有1295户、约5532人，居民以城镇居民为主；社区两委干部5人，党员56名，划为6个网格。社区介绍称这里历来是镇上的商贸中心，有个体工商户150多户，经营服装、饮食、电器等。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年1月，高地从元高居委会分设出来；1994年叫管理区，1999年恢复居委会，2002年起为高地社区居委会。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

慈和宝院等历史建筑在社区内，2007年1月22日，陆丰市将其公布为文物保护单位。[1]
