罗庚坝村在南万镇西南部，位于长梅河上游，土地面积15.8平方千米，下设5个村民小组，690人。[1] 1925年4月罗庚坝农会在这里成立。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

罗庚坝在1958年至1983年间为罗庚坝大队。1984年3月，乡政府取代大队；1986年为村民委员会，1990年为管理区，1999年再改回村民委员会，至今未变。[1] 村下自然村有上坑、河背、大坝、朝阳、石岭、山门、宫背、棋石等。[3]

红色历史[edit]

1925年4月，罗庚坝农会正式成立，钟帝恩、钟少楼任正副会长，会址在“维新楼”。[2] 1932年7月，红一团派一个连驻到宫背，乡苏维埃政权由此恢复；钟帝恩出任乡长，还组织了50人的赤卫队。[2]

经济[edit]

山地宽广、森林多、水资源丰富，建有再下、富竹窝、上坑等电站；村民种杉木等经济林和李子等水果，收益较好。[1] 上坑电站2005年投资300万元建成。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，罗庚坝村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
