梅角村在南万镇西南部山区，位于长梅河中游，土地面积13.2平方千米，下设4个村民小组，820人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年后这里属付梅乡，公社化的1958年立付梅大队，1962年分出，另设梅角大队。1984年3月，乡政府取代大队；1986年为村委会，1990年为办事处（管理区），1999年起称梅角村民委员会。[1] 村下自然村有和平、过山、南坊、下村、田心、横凹。[2]

经济[edit]

山地宽广、森林多、水资源较丰富，建有镇属梅角电站1座；村里近年发展杉木等经济林。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，梅角村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
