雅卿村是陶河镇西部的行政村，离镇政府约4公里，县道129穿过村域。自然村有松后、振兴、寨内、东乙、中兴、新乡、伍西七个。[1][2]

村名与沿革[edit]

博雅地名网的记述是：明末建大坑村，后改叫大卿村；1953年大卿村与井雅村合并成龙山区雅卿乡。之后经陶雅乡、雅卿大队，1984年改乡，1987年建镇后为雅卿村委会，1990年一度称管理区办事处，1998年复设村委会。[2]镇政府的历史概述写到，雅卿乡人颜廷光考中过武进士。[3]

人口与经济[edit]

约370户1700人有户籍，约168户570人常住；占地约5.68平方千米，耕地约1403亩，水田约1000亩。稻田约950亩，特色作物是板栗南瓜，种了约100亩，亩产约4800斤。[1]板栗南瓜使雅卿村在2021年9月入选第二批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，该村得名「2021年广东省卫生村」；2026年1月，又入选广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[2]
