陶新村是陶河镇东部的行政村，离镇政府约2.5公里，自然村有大屿、小屿、祯祥三个，所产「陶新莲藕」是全镇重点农产品。[1]
沿革[edit]
大屿、小屿、祯祥三村原属陶北大队，1966年分出另立陶新大队；其后于1984年改乡，1987年改称村委会，1998年复设后沿用。[2]
经济[edit]
全村占地约4268亩，耕地3442.53亩，其中稻田约2000亩、藕田约1000亩。陶新莲藕也叫大屿莲藕，镇政府资料称它是野生繁殖的作物，被当作「一村一品」项目培育，村里还打算借老屋和莲园景色发展农家乐与观光。[1]陶新村因莲藕在2020年8月入选首批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」；镇政府另称，莲藕年产值达到千万元。[2][3]

约550户2600人有户籍，约120户420人常住。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，该村得名「2023年广东省卫生村」；2026年1月，又入选广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[2]
