沿革[edit]
1952年立九区陶西乡，1958年为陶河公社陶西大队；其后1984年改乡，1987年改称村委会。1996年横山、芦蔸围二村划出，另立陶联管理区办事处，1998年陶西复设村委会。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
约400户1800人有户籍，约200户500人常住；占地约181公顷，耕地1668亩。稻田约1000亩，玉米地约300亩。[1]日军入侵期间，下家村民曾起来惩治汉奸。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，该村得名「2022年广东省卫生村」。[2]
