霞西村是陶河镇北部的行政村，离镇政府驻地约5公里，南靠下边村和陶联村，北靠附城镇与城东镇。自然村有笏仔、坣头、小屿三个。[1]
沿革[edit]
新中国成立初属六区陶河乡，1953年立龙山区霞西乡；公社化后是霞西大队，1984年改乡，1987年建镇后称村委会，1998年复设沿用。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
约533户2300人有户籍，约78户200人常住，占地约4.6平方千米。稻田约2500亩，另有茶园约200亩；镇政府资料提出要拉长茶叶加工链，并试着在水田里种莲藕。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，该村得名「2022年广东省卫生村」。[2]
