杨北村是陶河镇东南部的行政村，离镇政府约5公里，以杨西村为南邻，步雅村为北邻，杨东村为东邻，辖夏仁家、双山2个自然村。[1]
沿革[edit]
此地为清代金锡乡杨古埔的一部分。新中国成立初属六区杨埔乡，1952年立杨北乡，1956年杨南乡并入；公社化后是杨北大队，1965年自杨埔大队分出时辖区还包括今杨西村；1984年改乡，1987年成为杨北村委会。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
约417户1860人有户籍，约94户240人常住；全村约2.4平方千米，耕地约1530亩。稻田约1200亩，特色作物为竹笋，约300亩，亩产约2000斤。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，该村得名「2023年广东省卫生村」。[2]
