龙东村在兴宁市合水镇境内，是镇辖行政村。村处原龙北镇东部，因而叫龙东；辖杨桃树下、枫树塘、张公排、谭文阁四个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

龙东在1951年隶官田乡。1958年建东红大队，1980年更名龙东，1983年10月设乡，1987年4月改管理区，1999年成为龙东村委会。龙北镇2004年11月撤销后，村划归合水镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 列入国家林业和草原局2019年12月公布的第二批国家森林乡村。[1]
  • 2020年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
  • 在2026年3月认定的广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇中入选。[1]
