桥尾村是兴宁市黄陂镇的行政村，村情资料记全村1348人、276户，分11个村民小组，耕地594亩。[1]
名称由来[edit]
清乾隆年间，十四世启亮公兄弟与乃睦公后裔汪度兄弟合建了一座房屋，因是合建，没有屋名。屋在岗背圩下方，门前新修一桥，人称“新桥”，桥东为桥头、桥西为桥尾，屋在桥西，便被叫作“新桥尾”，后简称桥尾。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
桥尾起初附属于学士村，先后随学士大队（1958年）、学士乡（1984年）变动，到1987年才单独设桥尾管理区，1999年成立村委会。2004年11月岗背镇撤销，村改归黄陂镇。[1]
