陶塘村是兴宁市黄陂镇的行政村，博雅地名网归为镇乡结合区，村情资料记全村2432人、512户，分26个村民小组，耕地689亩。[1]
名称由来[edit]
早先陶、胡、唐三姓聚居，叫“陶胡塘村”，后来改称陶古塘村；陶古塘村分成两个村后，取其中的“塘”字，得名陶塘。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年为陶塘村农会，1951年设陶塘乡，1958年改为陶塘大队；1961年陶古、陶塘各立一个大队。1983年成立陶塘乡政府，1987年称管理区，1999年定名陶塘村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，陶塘村名列广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单。[1]
