历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来，是这里地势西高东低、田坑延伸得很长[1]。1949年称长段村农会，1950年至1957年为长段大队，1963年至1986年为长段乡，1986年以后称管理区，1999年改称村委会[1]。联新村原是长段的一部分[2]。

经济[edit]

村里种水稻、花生，据记载该年全村农村经济总收入585万元[1]。长段村是刁坊镇内有铀、铁等矿产分布的村之一[3]。
