长段村是兴宁市刁坊镇南部的行政村，距镇政府约7公里，辖12个村民小组，203人，面积约6平方公里，耕地781亩[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
村名的由来，是这里地势西高东低、田坑延伸得很长[1]。1949年称长段村农会，1950年至1957年为长段大队，1963年至1986年为长段乡，1986年以后称管理区，1999年改称村委会[1]。联新村原是长段的一部分[2]。
