郑江村是兴宁市刁坊镇的行政村，在镇政府东南约2公里，辖42个村民小组，429户、1900人，面积约4平方公里，耕地889亩^[1]。桐坪村在2005年3月并入郑江村^[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

这里最初有郑、张两姓建屋定居，叫郑张围；张姓迁走后改称郑岗岭，“岗”“江”同音，写成郑江^[1]。

新中国成立前，郑岗、桐坪、荷慕与河塘岭同属一乡，称河郑，后由郑江、桐坪、荷慕三村组成；1979年郑江另设大队，1984年又并入河郑乡，1989年再独立为郑江村，管理区时期沿用，1999年设村委会^[1]。

村里种水稻和蔬菜，据记载该年全村农村经济总收入1180万元^[1]。郑江村获「第一批广东省卫生村」称号，由广东省爱国卫生运动委员会于2017年10月授予；2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」^[1]。
