罗坝村是兴宁市刁坊镇的行政村，辖22个村民小组，826户、3280人，面积约3平方公里，耕地1999亩，是镇内人口较多的村之一[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名最初写作“罗霸”，后来村民习惯写成“罗坝”，沿用下来[1]。1954年至1958年设罗坝乡，1958年起为罗坝大队，1978年从中分出圩东大队；1984年至1987年又作罗坝乡，1987年4月设罗坝村，1989年9月起称管理区，1999年4月复为罗坝村[1]。

经济[edit]

主要种植水稻、蔬菜，据记载该年全村农村经济总收入2182万元；2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单[1]。

著名人物[edit]

百度百科把南宋罗孟郊（1092年至1153年）的籍贯写作循州府兴宁县刁坊镇罗坝村。他字耕甫，号休休，少年家贫，曾在神光山附近的罗岭草舍读书，1124年考中进士第三名（探花），后官至谏议大夫、翰林院学士，主张抗金[2]。
