刁坊社区是兴宁市刁坊镇镇政府驻地，即刁坊圩镇所在的社区居委会。据博雅地名网记载，社区有429户、1731人，面积约1平方公里[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区名称与镇名同源：约六百年前此地有刁、高两姓，开设店铺与染布坊，称“刁高铺”或“刁岗铺”，高姓迁出后，取“刁”字和“坊”字合称刁坊[1]。该社区是1985年为便于管理圩镇居民而设立的，名称沿用至今[1]。

经济[edit]

近年社区整治圩镇环境，圩镇范围内装齐路灯，并种下路树一千多株[1]。2019年9月，刁坊社区列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单[1]。
