历史沿革[edit]

城南在1960年是城南大队；1983年改叫乡，1987年叫村，1989年设管理区；到1999年成了居委会，2004年才定为城南社区居委会。[1]

社区辖51个村民小组，841户、3830人，耕地467亩。2019年9月列入广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
