文星村是兴宁市宁新街道南部的行政村，属城乡结合区；兴宁文峰塔就建在村内的长陂岭上。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1954年，这里先后有红星社与文峰社；1960年两社并为一个大队，各取一字，叫文星大队。之后是乡（1983年）、管理区（1987年）、村委会（1999年）。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
文峰塔位于长陂岭，清嘉庆十九年（1814年）建成，距今已有两百多年。相传此前兴宁近三十年没有人考中科甲，县令仲子履认为是山川文气不足，倡议建塔。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，文星村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2022年10月，列入2022年淘宝村名单。[1]
