龙村镇在广东省梅州市五华县的最南端，镇政府设在龙村圩，与揭阳、河源、汕尾三市的四个乡镇交界。[1]按2020年6月的区划，全镇分3个社区、38个行政村。[1]辖区面积在五华县各镇中居首位，主产木材、松香，近年又以三红柚和茶叶著称。[1][2][5]

历史沿革[edit]

北宋熙宁年间长乐县初置时，这一带归琴江都管辖；清末称龙玉湖约；民国初年设区，后来建置屡有变动。[2]龙村乡于1957年始设，次年9月改为龙村公社；1983年11月政社分设，改设区，1986年11月又改设镇。[2]2004年10月，硝芳、登畲两个镇撤销建制，并入龙村镇，因此今天的龙村镇包括了原硝芳、登畲两镇的地域。[4]

镇名的由来，博雅地名网的说法是：这里龙、白等16个姓氏聚居，龙姓最多，后人便称之为龙村。[2]大革命时期，龙村曾是五华县苏维埃政府和中共五华县委机关的驻地。[1]

地理环境[edit]

龙村镇位于五华县南端，北邻梅林镇，西接华阳镇，南面与揭阳市揭西县、河源市紫金县、汕尾市陆河县相邻，毗邻的乡镇有揭西县上砂镇、紫金县龙窝镇、水墩镇、南岭镇和陆河县螺溪镇。[1][2]镇政府驻地距五华县城，百度百科记为65千米，博雅地名网同时出现65公里与56公里两种写法。[1][2]

镇域面积有两种数字：百度百科为328.95平方千米，博雅地名网及其所引资料为349.1平方千米。[1][2][3]后一资料称全镇耕地40081亩、林地42万亩，另说该镇位于琴江河上游。[3][4]气候属亚热带季风气候。[1]

据百度百科，2020年末全镇有22702户、111546人，其中农业人口98355人、非农业人口13191人。[1]博雅地名网引用第七次全国人口普查结果，称2021年6月公布的龙村镇人口为6.15万人，在五华县各乡镇中列第6位。[2]两种数字相差很大，来源均未说明统计口径，本条目并列写出。博雅地名网收录的较早资料则为18003户、86383人。[3]

龙村镇是五华县木材和松香的主要产地之一，主产松、杉。[1]百度百科记载，2019年全镇工农业总产值8亿元，比2018年增长10.2%；镇级财政收入合计8393.79万元，增幅46.8%；农村居民人均纯收入7909元，增长6%。[1]

农业上，镇里以三红柚、茶叶、油茶为特色。[5]据2021年9月的报道，全镇三红柚种植面积已超过万亩，年产350多万斤，产值1000多万元；9月11日举办了第三届金柚丰收节。[5]广东省农业农村厅先后把龙村村、三湖村、金龙村列为三红柚（蜜柚）专业村，洞口、云溪、营田、登畲等村则以茶叶入选「一村一品」专业村。[10][11][12]

梅州抽水蓄能电站（梅蓄电站）位于黄狮村一带，由上、下两座水库组成，两库落差约400米；一期4台30万千瓦机组，工程2015年9月30日全面动工，2022年5月底全部投产，总装机规划240万千瓦，二期于2022年9月启动。[9]基础设施方面，2008年4月建成的黄禾墩大桥长215米、宽8.5米，由镇政府牵头，龙村、樟华、宫前等六村协助，并获黄人先先生首期捐资60万元。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

博雅地名网列出镇内三处文物保护单位。黄氏景昇公祠在梧溪村，年代为宋，2020年3月13日公布为第七批梅州市文物保护单位。[7]燕翼楼在下滩村，属清代古建筑，2021年2月26日公布为五华县第六批文物保护单位，同时已列为梅州市第三批历史建筑，并设为农村文化俱乐部。[6]留畲村人民会堂建于1969年，土木结构，占地483平方米，原址是当地农会联络点「社墩」小庙，同样在2021年2月26日列为五华县第六批文物保护单位，修缮后陈列老电影海报和放映机。[8]

龙村镇在2022年1月被命名为「2021年度广东省卫生城镇」，2023年2月又获「2022年度五华县文明村镇」之称。[2]
