优河村隶属五华县梅林镇（梅州市），位于镇境中部。据博雅地名网，村内设29个村民小组，登记806户、3825人，面积10平方千米，耕地1690亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村在溜砂河边，河水清澈优良，因而得名。[1]

优河一带在1949年设优河乡，1958年起改设大队；乡政府之称见于1983年，1989年又改称管理区，直到1999年才定为优河村委会。[2]

经济与荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2023年2月，获「2022年度五华县文明村镇」称号。[1]
  • 2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
