梅北村隶属五华县梅林镇（梅州市），位于镇境西北部。据博雅地名网，村内设29个村民小组，登记215户、2797人，面积7平方千米，耕地1823亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
当地原种杨梅，村又坐北向南，因此叫梅北。[1]
土地改革前后，米石、华新、增坑、上新各设一个大队；地势分散、往来不便，四队后来合编成梅北大队，1999年起称梅北村民委员会。[2]
经济与荣誉[edit]
- 2019年9月，进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
