历史沿革[edit]

该村在旧时下拔片的南部，下拔区撤销后改以「华」字开头，故称华南。[1]解放初属华拔乡，1956年隶属华拔大队，1989年11月称华南管理区，1999年起设华南村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

在册275户、1615人，上一年农村经济总收入662万元。[1]2020年8月列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，品种为板栗。[1]
