富美村在五华县双华镇东部，辖13个村民小组，总面积3.6平方公里，耕地412亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名寄托着村民生活富足、家庭和美的愿望。[1]最初（1949至1955年）是双华区的布沙村，1956年改称双华乡布美村，1958年成为布美大队，隶属双华人民公社；1963年起并入双华大队，一同并入的有河东、河西和矮畲；1970至1983年间几经分合，布美称管理区，1999年改为富美村民委员会。[1]
人口经济[edit]
在册227户、1223人，上一年农村经济总收入575万元。[1]五华县于2023年2月授予其2022年度文明村镇称号。[1]
