公平村在五华县双华镇东北部，辖8个村民小组，总面积7.1平方公里，耕地658亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建村之初，地势较高，易遭雷击，起名雷公坪；后来陈、张两姓聚居，相处和睦，改取「公平」二字。[1]1984年设管理区，1999年更名公平村民委员会。[1]

人口经济[edit]

在册170户、962人，上一年农村经济总收入397万元。[1]2019年9月，入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
