双华镇在广东省梅州市五华县东南部，东邻丰顺县，西接安流镇，南与棉洋镇相接，北靠河东镇和郭田镇，距县城约28千米。[1]镇名取自境内的双华河与华拔河。[2]这里是五华的老革命根据地，古大存当年在此活动。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

在宋、元、明、清各代，这一带的地名是嵩头。清代末年，它隶属大都约；民国年间，改属大都乡。双华公社创立于1958年9月。到1972年10月，平南分出去单独设社，上布也转属大都公社。1983年11月公社改设为区，三年后的1986年11月再改为镇。[2]

镇名取自境内两条河。镇区所在的双华社区用的也是这个名字。[2]下辖各村的名称多有来历：双华村因靠近华东、华南两村而取「华」字，华东、华南、华拔三村的名字都来自旧时的下拔区，公平村原名雷公坪，军营村相传因神社所奉三位都师驻军而得名。[12][13][4][18][14][16]

百度百科给出的辖区面积是144.45平方千米，一份较早的镇情介绍则写142平方千米，博雅地名网另作约144.4平方千米。[1][2][3]三条河流双华河、华拔河、大径河都属琴江水系。上述镇情介绍还记有：降水量每年约1600毫米，年均气温约18摄氏度，日照约1700小时，水力资源可开发7800千瓦，其中5200千瓦已开发。[3]土壤多为赤红壤，农户习惯种板栗、梨和茶叶，地下有钨、铁、锡、钾长石等矿藏。[3]

人口民族[edit]

2019年末户籍人口43497人。[1]第七次全国人口普查（2020年）的结果为约2.63万人，在五华县各乡镇中居第15位。[2]全镇辖1个社区、16个行政村。[1]

经济[edit]

据百度百科，2017年农村经济总收入为3.74亿元（增长7.5%），固定资产投资完成5600万元（增长10.7%），农村居民人均收入9015元（增长9.5%）。[1]早期镇情介绍另记有山林面积约17.55万亩、耕地约1.53万亩。[3]板栗是镇里的主要产业：华南、福全、竹山、虎石、矮畬五个村都凭板栗进了省里首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（2020年8月由广东省农业农村厅公布）。[4][5][6][7][8]

革命史[edit]

双华是五华县的老苏区。据百度百科，苏区村禾田水曾设立五华县的首个苏维埃政府，[1]苏区村的村名也出于此：该村在第一次国内革命战争时期牺牲者多，烈士人数居全镇之首。[15]大革命时期的张剑珍、万大来等人在此参加革命。[3]百度百科称全镇有革命烈士160名，博雅地名网转录的较早镇情介绍则称烈士为145名。[1][3]1958年，镇上又建了一座革命烈士纪念馆，容量达1500多人。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

  • 英烈庙：在大陂村高山寨顶，始建于明末，为纪念被封为英烈相女的谢二妹（谢圣仙娘）而建。据维基百科，谢二妹家住旧长乐县嵩头大陂下（今双华镇），明洪武十二年（1379年）18岁时领农民抗击三位都司，兵败被擒就义，朝廷感其节烈而敕封，当地人在高山寨建石亭纪念。庙身全用青色花岗岩，前亭后殿，通长5.5米，宽2.82米，高3.15米。1989年6月29日，省政府将它列入省级文物保护名单。[9][10]
  • 「风围水口碑」摩崖石刻：在军营村碑石门，乾隆三十年（1765年）春初刻成，碑高2.58米、宽1.05米，共566字。[2]
  • 中济桥：在福全村，建于清代，2021年2月26日列入五华县第六批县级文保单位。[11]
  • 此外，百度百科还提到镇内有天堂山大峡谷、市级自然保护区天堂山，虎石村被列为省级古村落，白云庵与高山寨英烈庙为省、县级文物保护单位。[1]

文化[edit]

双华镇在2021年1月被评为广东省卫生城镇（2020年度）。[2]镇内军营、冰塘两个村于2019年12月入选第一批国家森林乡村。[16][17]竹山村有「红色村」党建示范工程。[1]
