新亨村位于华城镇最北部，原属新桥镇，2003年下半年并入华城镇。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，原新亨村包括新范、新章、船坑里三处，各自分合后由原新亨大队变更而来。1949年是新桥乡的第九村，1958年属华城公社，称新亨大队；1970年转归新桥公社，到1975年设为新桥镇下的管理区，1999年改称村委会，仍隶新桥镇，直至2003年下半年新桥镇并入华城镇。[1]
概况与荣誉[edit]
村辖13个村民小组，页面所载在册496户、2392人，耕地1028亩，土地总面积6.71平方公里。2023年2月评上五华县的2022年度文明村镇，另在2019年9月被省里列为2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位。[1]
