地名与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村地处城西，维新之后命名为维西。1949年立维西乡，1958年起设维西大队，1983年改由乡政府管理，到1989年又改设管理区；1999年管理区撤销，建立维西村委会。[1]
