万子村位于华城镇南部，总面积13.7平方公里，是镇内面积较大的行政村；旧名万紫。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，村名一直写作「万紫」，建国后经县和公社批准改为万子，沿用至今。1949年立万子乡，1958年起设万子大队，1983年改由乡政府管理，到1989年又改设管理区；1999年管理区撤销，建立万子村委会。[1]
概况与荣誉[edit]
村辖15个村民小组，页面所载在册708户、3413人，耕地1510亩。另在2019年9月被省里列为2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位。[1]
