兴中村位于华城镇东南部，与转水镇相邻，村名取「兴盛中国」之意。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村名取兴盛中国之意。兴中一直以兴中乡为名：1956年8月撤区并乡后仍是兴中乡，1958年划入兴林公社，1984年公社改乡，当年8月又撤乡设镇，兴中村民委员会随之归华城镇。[1]

概况与荣誉[edit]

村辖13个村民小组，页面所载在册702户、3150人，耕地1465亩，土地总面积5.3平方公里。另在2019年9月被省里列为2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位。[1]
