董源村是梅州市五华县华城镇西北郊的行政村，205国道从村中穿过，村名来自明代嘉靖年间村内公路旧道上的董源桥。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载村情，明嘉靖年间村中干道上有一座古桥名董源桥，村因此得名。[1]新中国成立初期这里是董河乡；1953年8月实行乡制时编为初级社，1954年改为董铁乡，1958年称董化乡，1961年5月改乡为公社，设董源大队；华城区时期（1983年至1998年）设董源管理区，管理区在1999年易名为村民委员会，延续至今。[1]

村内辖16个村民小组，页面所载在册732户、3166人，全村耕地1200亩，土地总面积11.39平方公里。[1]董源村列入2017年10月公布的第一批广东省卫生村名单。[1]
