大田村是丰顺县大龙华镇所辖的行政村，为大龙华镇的中心村，城乡分类属镇乡结合区，下设13个村民小组[1]。村中有一大片开阔的田地，据说“三日犁田也转不到角”，村名即由此而来[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

现行的村民委员会建于1999年，由原大田管理区（1984年设区乡时的名称）改设而来；更早的1958年，大田、岗背、田东三地合编为一个大田大队[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，全村在册244户、1101人，总面积7.3平方千米，耕地322亩；种植的经济作物主要是水稻，特色收入来源为辣椒，上一年农村经济总收入498万元[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2017年10月，省爱国卫生运动委员会评出首批省卫生村，该村名列其中；2019年9月，该村被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2026年3月被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]。
