洋田村是丰顺县汤坑镇所辖的行政村之一，位于汤坑镇北片[1]。村名的来历是：取主村大湖洋、田中央各一字合成[2]。2004年10月撤销附城镇后改归汤坑镇管辖[3]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载：1958年起叫作汤坑公社洋田大队；此后1983年起叫作汤坑区洋田乡；随后1986年起叫作附城乡洋田管理区；再后来1999年起叫作洋田村民委员会；接着2004年10月附城镇建制撤销后，洋田村民委员会划入汤坑镇。[3]

荣誉：2019年9月，洋田村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
