侯北村是梅州市大埔县百侯镇的行政村，位于镇的北部、梅潭河北岸，距县城11公里；全村面积5.3平方千米，下设25个村民小组，户籍人口3596人。[1][2]

中国传统村落名录的第五批（2019年6月）收录了侯北村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村在梅潭河之北，原称「溪北」，民国以后叫侯北。明代隶白堠溪北社，清代隶白堠甲，民国隶百侯区百侯乡；新中国成立初期称第三区（侯云）侯北乡；1952年为百侯区侯北乡；1958年10月，百侯公社下设侯北大队；1983年冬起改叫百侯区侯北乡，1986年12月起为百侯镇侯北村；1988年叫管理区，1998年改设村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

博雅地名网村情称，村里种水稻、烤烟、蔬菜，上一年农村经济总收入3853万元（年份未注明）。[1] 百度百科写到村里办有研学实践教育基地。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

  • 笙曹筱筑：市级文物保护单位，民国时期旅居新加坡的侨商萧笙曹所建，三进院落、二横屋，占地1596平方米，为「九厅十八井」格局；门楼上有商衍鎏题的匾额，上厅有林森题字，有「一屋两名书」之说。[3]
  • 萧氏宗祠：年代记为1683年，为第十一批大埔县文物保护单位；衢亨、垣印德星、儒宗衍庆、南阳毓秀等也列为县级文物保护单位。[3]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2015年2月，中央文明委授予第四届全国文明村镇称号。[1]
  • 大埔蜜柚方面，2016年7月被农业部认定为第六批全国一村一品示范村镇。[1]
  • 第六批广东省古村落（2019年3月公布）、第五批中国传统村落（同年6月）均有侯北村。[1]
  • 2020年8月，侯北村以葡萄入选广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]
  • 2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
