软桥村是梅州市大埔县百侯镇辖下的行政村，位于镇的东北部。据博雅地名网载村情（未注明年份），全村分20个村民小组，在册353户、1358人，总面积6平方千米，耕地1318亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据传，通往武统窠的村道经过一道宽三丈多的山坑，坑上只架木桥而无桥墩，人走到桥中会觉得桥身发软、颤动，村名由此而来。[1]
1952年为百侯区软桥乡；1957年归侯北乡，称软桥小乡；1958年10月，百侯公社下设软桥大队；1983年复称百侯区软桥乡，1986年2月起为百侯镇软桥村；1988年叫管理区，1998年改设村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村情材料列出的主要作物是水稻，上一年全村经济总收入是1286万元（年份未注明）。[1] 该村曾是省定贫困村，结对帮扶单位是中国对外贸易中心；帮扶期间，村委会与一位经营者合办了一座一百多亩的蜜柚果场，据称每年可为村集体增收3万元以上。[1]
