明新村是广东省梅州市大埔县银江镇下辖的行政村，位于省道S333线旁，城乡分类属镇中心区。村由合水村和九曲村两个主村合成，以明新小学的校名为村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据村情页，1372年房姓人家从福建宁化石壁村迁到此地建村，当时属大麻；1952年立明新乡，1957年为银中乡的明新小乡；1958年10月编为大麻公社明新大队，1962年划归银江公社；1983年改设乡，1986年冬称村民委员会，1988年冬改为管理区，1998年起为银江镇明新村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

全村17个村民小组，在册318户、1503人，总面积20平方千米，耕地387亩（村情页，未注明年份）。主要经济作物为黄花菜和生猪，页面称上一年农村经济总收入1023万元，全村农户种植杂交水稻新品种并采用塑盘抛秧技术。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单由省农业农村厅公布，明新村以黄花菜入选；2026年3月，被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
