瑶上村隶属广东省梅州市梅县区南口镇。相传村里原住的是瑶族人，后来汉族人陆续迁来，瑶族人又陆续迁往他乡，这个聚居地便被称作瑶上。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
最初是南口公社下的瑶上大队（1958年）；1965年随瑶上公社，仍为瑶上大队；1983年改设瑶上乡政府；其后1986年为管理区，1999年为村委会。[1]
2019年6月，瑶上村列入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1]
2019年9月，该村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
